Everyone Prioritizes Safety, All Are Skilled in Emergency Response" – Standing Firm in the Heat: This Drill Showcases Industrial Control Responsibility!   Perseverance in the Heat: This Drill Showcases Guangzhou Industry Holding Group's Commitment!   On June 6, the 2025 "Work Safety Month" emergency drill of Guangzhou Industrial Control Group kicked off at Wanbao Refrigerator. In this dual-risk simulation—testing responses to both a fire in the company's C5 warehouse and a leak in the cyclopentane tank area—employees across all positions demonstrated the responsibility and dedication of Guangzhou Industrial Control professionals under sweltering temperatures exceeding 35°C, their expertise shining through their sweat.   Alert Erupts: Lightning-Fast Response in Ordinary Roles In the C5 warehouse of the company, warehouse staff were focused on transporting goods when suddenly a fan on the wall short-circuited, sending out sparks. The falling embers instantly ignited the goods below. As thick smoke billowed, the worker quickly dropped the trolley and ran toward the warehouse exit while shouting for help: "Fire! Call the fire department!" At the same time, the smoke detector alarm in the monitoring room flashed red, and the on-duty staff immediately grabbed the walkie-talkie, urgently calling the patrol: "Smoke detector alarm in C5 warehouse! Proceed to the scene immediately!" Multiple patrol personnel who received the command rushed to the warehouse with fire extinguishers and aimed at the source of the fire. However, the flames quickly spread through the gaps between the goods, and the scorching heat at the scene was unbearable. While struggling to suppress the fire, the patrol team reported to the monitoring room: "The fire is spreading too fast—requesting backup!" The monitoring room immediately relayed the emergency to on-site commander Jiang Huijun.   After confirming the fire, Jiang Huijun immediately reported to Deputy Commander Xiang Guohua: "An electrical short circuit in Warehouse C5 has caused a fire. Initial attempts to extinguish it were unsuccessful. Request activation of the emergency response plan!" Xiang Guohua issued a decisive order: "Activate the emergency response plan immediately. I’m heading to the scene now!" Instantly, alarms blared across the factory grounds, and all emergency response teams sprang into action. A race-against-time rescue operation swiftly unfolded.     Fire Rescue: The 'Scorching Silhouettes' in Thick Smoke and Toxic Fumes   The rescue team leader Chen Jingsheng led seven members—Qiu Zhuofeng, Cai Haozhang, Chen Guangqiang, Zhong Guoquan, Luo Zhiming, Liu Bing, and Liu Guan'en—into a warehouse with temperatures reaching 50°C. They split into three groups to carry out the mission.       HazChem Rescue: 12-Minute Leak Stop     Upon receiving the order, Zhong Jianfang, leader of the hazardous chemical emergency response team, swiftly led Kuang Jinyou and Ouyang Xiaowen to the leaking cyclopentane tank area, equipped with explosion-proof tools and absorbent materials. Upon arrival, the three immediately initiated coordinated countermeasures.       Joint Operations: The Steel Line of Defense in the Blazing Sun The communication and liaison team, She Xiawei and Feng Jianhai, stood guard at the enterprise's entrance holding eye-catching markers, closely monitoring the road conditions and ready to swiftly direct the fire trucks to the site. Meanwhile, the logistics support team, Li Yinbao and Zhang Boxiong, quickly rushed to the power distribution room and pipeline area, promptly cutting off the internal power supply by shutting down the switches and closing the valves of hazardous pipelines to eliminate potential secondary risks at the source.   The Alert Team Leader Wu Xuewen led Liu Xinghui, Li Guojian, Luo Zhenxing, Zhong Wanxian, Li Jianyuan, Xu Zhenji, Li Hong, Chen Yanling, and Liu Jianzheng in setting up security perimeter around the perimeter of the accident area. Under the scorching heat, their reflective vests burned scalding to the touch / burning hot, yet they held their posts at every entry and exit without faltering, strictly controlling the movement of personnel and vehicles to build a perimeter for the rescue operation. The evacuation team leader, Zheng Minzhe, led six young team members—Xiao Hualong, Liang Hailian, Zheng Zitao, Qiu Bing, Kuang Liping, and Luo Kaichan—as they shuttled between office buildings. Their reflective vests glinted sharply under the sunlight while they shouted loudly, "Stay low and move orderly!" and waved their arms to guide the crowd toward the safe passage. Their hoarse voices formed powerful safety commands that echoed across the factory area. After multiple rounds of tireless effort, they successfully escorted over 100 employees to the assembly point, ensuring no one was left behind throughout the entire process. Medical Rescue Team: Guardians of Life in the Scorching Heat The leader of the medical rescue team, Mei Wei, along with Chen Chengcai, Li Jiantian, He Meihua, Chen Shumin, Liu Zhipu, and Zhuo Xinjie, arrived at the scene at a jog, carrying emergency equipment such as a stretcher and an AED. They quickly and steadily lifted the unconscious person onto the stretcher and, under the scorching heat, rushed全力 toward the temporary medical station. Upon arrival, they immediately began performing CPR. After a tense and well-organized rescue effort, the unconscious person gradually regained spontaneous breathing, and their vital signs stabilized. The entire rescue process was smooth and efficient, seizing the "golden rescue time" with professional and swift actions. This fully demonstrated the emergency medical team's exceptional  skills and sense of under the extreme.     Behind-the-Scenes Voices: A Safety Oath Forged in Sweat When the drill concluded with the whistle blast, the participants' uniforms were soaked through with sweat, their backs coated with fine salt crystals from evaporated perspiration, their protective gloves worn through at the fingertips, and their necks sunburned a fiery red. From the initial fire response at the C5 warehouse to the containment of the cyclopentane tank area leak, from the emergency evacuation of hundreds to performing life-saving CPR on simulated casualties, each departmental emergency team demonstrated a highly efficient cross-departmental operational model—embedding the belief that "safety outweighs Mount Tai" into every rescue phase. These sweat-soaked collars, worn-out protective gear, and sunburned skin are not only badges of the emergency team's professional competence but also testaments to cross-departmental solidarity and collaboration. As Deputy Commander Xiang Guohua summarized in his remarks: "Every drop of sweat reflects reverence for life, every moment of perseverance strengthens the safety (defense line), and every act of seamless cooperation reaffirms the power of teamwork."
